Turn on 2-step sign-in for Microsoft

Five minutes with the Authenticator app and a stolen password stops being enough.

   Install Microsoft Authenticator on your phone.

   On a computer, go to account.microsoft.com › Security › Advanced security options › Add a new way to sign in and pick the app.

   Scan the code, approve the test prompt, and save the recovery code somewhere that is not your email.
